Conference Information

What Gainesville is like in June

Gainesville in June is warm and humid. The average high temperature is 90 degrees and the average low is 69 degrees. Average precipitation for the month is 7.13 inches, and it rains nearly every afternoon, so you’ll likely experience a shower or two.

Most of our 49,000 students are away for the summer, but you’ll encounter summer semester scholars traversing our 2,000-acre campus and enjoying our beautiful city, which has been ranked the No. 1 place to live in North America by Cities Ranked and Rated. National Geographic Adventure has ranked us as one of the best places to live and play in the United States.

If you’re planning a stay beyond the conference, you’ll find plenty of attractions both on campus and in the surrounding area. You can learn more at
